Terms Of Service

By asking us to plan or book travel, approving an itinerary, making any payment, or electronically accepting these terms, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to them. If you act for other travelers, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms and provide information on their behalf, and you agree to share these terms with them.

1. Our role as a travel advisor

LGTG acts solely as an independent booking agent for disclosed third-party suppliers, including airlines, cruise lines, hotels, resorts, tour operators, transportation companies, excursion providers, travel protection providers, and other independent contractors (“Suppliers”). LGTG does not own, operate, manage, or control any Supplier and is not the source or provider of the travel services.

Each Supplier has its own contract, fare rules, cancellation policies, refund rules, health and safety requirements, and other terms. Your booking is also subject to those Supplier terms. If a Supplier term conflicts with these Terms & Conditions regarding the Supplier’s service, the Supplier term controls.

LGTG is an independent affiliate of A. S. A. P. Cruises Inc. d/b/a OutsideAgents.com. Florida Seller of Travel No. ST15578; California Seller of Travel No. 2090937-50; Washington UBID No. 603189022. Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by the State of California.

2. Eligibility, authority, and traveler information

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. You are financially responsible for all reservations and payments you authorize for yourself and anyone in your party. You warrant that all names, birth dates, citizenship, passport details, contact information, accessibility needs, and other information supplied to LGTG are complete and accurate.

Names and dates of birth must exactly match each traveler’s government-issued identification. Review every quote, invoice, confirmation, ticket, and itinerary immediately. Notify us in writing within 24 hours of receipt if a correction is needed. You are responsible for Supplier change fees, fare increases, denied boarding, or other losses caused by inaccurate or late-reported information.

3. Quotes, pricing, availability, and errors

Quotes are not reservations and do not guarantee price or availability. Airfares, cabin or room inventory, promotions, taxes, fees, currency conversions, fuel surcharges, and Supplier terms may change without notice until the Supplier receives and confirms required payment. LGTG and Suppliers reserve the right to correct pricing, availability, typographical, technical, and clerical errors. We are not responsible for errors or omissions supplied by a third party.

3A. Complimentary quotes and professional service fees

LGTG is pleased to provide an initial consultation and up to two reasonable quote or itinerary options at no charge. A “quote option” means one proposed trip based on the destination, dates, traveler count, budget, and preferences you provide. If you request additional quotes, repeated redesigns, substantially different destinations or dates, or continued research without booking, LGTG may require a nonrefundable planning fee before further work begins.

Professional service fees may also apply when LGTG is not compensated by a Supplier, including research-only requests, information or itinerary preparation without booking, booking or managing travel with your points or miles, taking over a reservation made elsewhere, monitoring or managing an independently booked trip, completing forms or applications, or providing other special administrative assistance.

No additional professional service fee will be charged without advance notice. Before fee-based work begins, LGTG will explain the scope of work and fee in writing. Your written or electronic approval and payment of that fee authorize LGTG to proceed. Professional service fees compensate LGTG for time and expertise and are nonrefundable once the agreed work has begun, even if you later decide not to book.

4. Payments, changes, cancellations, and refunds

You authorize LGTG to transmit your approved payment information to the applicable Suppliers. You are responsible for all deposits, balances, taxes, fees, duties, and assessments. Missing a payment deadline may cause automatic cancellation and loss of funds. Many travel purchases are nonrefundable from the moment they are booked.

All change or cancellation requests must be sent to LGTG in writing. They are not effective until received and acknowledged during normal business operations. Supplier fees may apply. In addition, LGTG may charge a separate, nonrefundable agency cancellation or change fee in the amount disclosed in your proposal, invoice, booking confirmation, or other written fee notice. This agency fee compensates LGTG for the administrative work required to change, cancel, document, and follow up on the reservation, and is separate from any Supplier penalty. Refund timing and eligibility are controlled by the Supplier. LGTG cannot guarantee or advance a refund before the Supplier releases funds.

Except in a genuine case of fraud or unauthorized use, you agree not to initiate a chargeback to avoid valid Supplier or agency terms. You remain responsible for authorized charges and for reasonable costs incurred in responding to an improper chargeback, to the extent permitted by law.

5. Passports, visas, identification, and entry requirements

Each traveler is solely responsible for obtaining and carrying valid passports, visas, REAL ID-compliant or other acceptable identification, parental consent documents, health documents, and any other item required for the entire itinerary, including transit points. Requirements can change without notice and may vary by citizenship, residency, criminal history, age, and destination.

LGTG does not determine a traveler’s admissibility and is not responsible for denied boarding, denied entry, delays, or losses caused by missing, expired, damaged, or noncompliant documents. Verify current requirements with the relevant government and Supplier before departure. Helpful starting points include U.S. Department of State, TSA identification guidance, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

6. Health, safety, accessibility, and inherent travel risks

You are responsible for assessing whether a trip, destination, accommodation, transportation method, or activity is suitable for you and your party. Travel can involve illness, injury, crime, political instability, severe weather, wildlife, remote locations, limited medical care, physical exertion, and other known and unknown risks. Consult qualified medical professionals about health, vaccination, mobility, pregnancy, and medication concerns.

By proceeding, you voluntarily assume the ordinary and inherent risks of travel and participation in itinerary activities. Review current guidance from the U.S. Department of State and CDC Travelers’ Health. Consider enrolling in STEP for international travel.

7. Air travel and independent arrangements

Airlines control schedules, routes, seats, baggage rules, cancellations, rebooking, refunds, and contracts of carriage. Seat assignments are never guaranteed. A missed flight segment may cause an airline to cancel all remaining segments. Reconfirm flights directly with the carrier and arrive with sufficient time for check-in and security.

LGTG is not responsible for travel arrangements you make independently or for losses when separately booked components do not connect as planned. If you book your own air, insurance, excursion, transfer, or lodging, you accept responsibility for coordinating it with the rest of your trip.

8. Travel protection

Travel protection is strongly recommended for every trip. Unless expressly stated, it is not included. Coverage may address certain cancellations, interruptions, medical emergencies, evacuation, delays, baggage losses, or Supplier default, subject to the policy’s terms and exclusions.

If you decline travel protection, you accept the risk of losing some or all payments and paying additional out-of-pocket expenses. LGTG is not an insurer and cannot guarantee coverage, claims handling, or payment. Read the policy and direct coverage questions to the insurer. We may require a separate written insurance acceptance or declination.

9. Supplier acts, force majeure, and release

LGTG is not liable for the acts, omissions, negligence, defaults, insolvency, bankruptcy, service failures, schedule or itinerary changes, cancellations, delays, overbooking, strikes, mechanical problems, or refund decisions of any Supplier or other person outside LGTG’s control.

LGTG is not responsible for losses caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, fire, flood, epidemic, pandemic, quarantine, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, border closure, labor disruption, utility or communication failure, cyberattack, or other force majeure event. Supplier terms determine available credits, changes, or refunds.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Laurie Handlovits nor LGTG will be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost enjoyment, lost profits, or emotional distress. If LGTG is found liable for a claim, total liability will not exceed the amount of professional fees and commissions actually received and retained by LGTG for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability finally determined to result from gross negligence or willful misconduct where applicable law prohibits such a limitation.

11. Client conduct and indemnification

You are responsible for your conduct and that of travelers for whom you book. You agree to follow Supplier rules and applicable laws and to pay for damage, fines, or losses caused by your party. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Laurie Handlovits and LGTG from third-party claims, liabilities, and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, inaccurate information you provide, unlawful conduct, or damage caused by you or your party.

12. Electronic communications and acceptance

You consent to receive booking records, notices, invoices, and these terms electronically at the email address or phone number you provide. You may request a paper copy by contacting laurie@letsgotravelgroup.com. An electronic signature, checked acceptance box, email acceptance, or payment made after these terms are presented may evidence your agreement, provided the record identifies the version accepted and can be retained.

For stronger recordkeeping, LGTG may require the lead traveler to enter a name, email address, trip name or destination, acceptance date, and electronic signature before booking or accepting payment. LGTG will retain the submitted record with the applicable terms version.

13. Website and communications

Website content and auto-populated promotions are provided for general information and may become outdated. Third-party links are offered for convenience and are not endorsements. LGTG does not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. Transactional calls, texts, and emails may be used to service a request or booking. Marketing consent, where requested, is separate and is not a condition of purchase.

14. Governing law; severability; entire agreement

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a legal claim, the parties agree to provide written notice and make a good-faith effort to resolve the matter informally. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

These Terms & Conditions, the accepted itinerary or invoice, and incorporated Supplier terms form the agreement relating to the booking. A later version posted online does not retroactively replace the version accepted for an existing booking unless both parties agree.
